A. NO. There will be NO SERVICE in the evening. Instead, we will gather at the church at 6 PM for a time of FELLOWSHIP.
Q. WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO?
A. Fellowship with our church family. Share with our guests. Maybe sing some songs. Play catch. Watch others play catch.

A. We will plan to be at the church around 6 PM.
Q. WILL THERE BE A LUNCH PROVIDED?
A. NO. We do have the ingredients to make S’mores around the bonfire.
Q. WHAT??? NOTHING TO EAT????
A. That’s Right! You may, however, bring SNACKS and DRINKS for your family and your guests.
Q. WHAT ELSE SHOULD WE BRING?
A. Your family. A guest. Your lawn chair. Your ball glove. A frisbee. You get the idea.
Q. WHAT TIME WILL IT END? I DON’T WANT TO MISS THE FIREWORKS!
A. This event will end around 9 PM to afford ample opportunity to anyone who wishes to go to Moncton for fireworks.
Good Afternoon Everyone!
We are looking forward to a great time at church tonight. Prayer will start at 6:30 PM and service will start at 7 PM.
Let’s make our friends from Astle feel welcome and show them how glad we are that they came to be with us tonight.
The lunch will be served downstairs following service. Cost will be $3 each and drinks may be purchased separately.
YES, there is service in Saint John tonight.
I am looking for anyone who is wanting to ride/drive the bus tonight.
If you are wanting to go, please respond to this post ASAP.
What could be more fun than a Monday Night baptism?! What better use for a swimming pool??!
Sunday School Fun night will be held at CPC tomorrow night, June 25, from 6:30-8:00 PM. We hope to see you there.
If anything special is required, you will hear from us via email tomorrow.
There is a chance that the bus may be going to Plaster Rock on Sunday Morning for the funeral of Sis. Munn.
It would be leaving the church at 7 AM and be returning after the funeral.
If you are interested in a seat on the bus, please email ASAP. The cost, of course, will depend on the amount of seats that are filled and we will let you know just as soon as a determination has been made.
Due to the passing of Sis. Lisa Munn, we are having to revamp our Super Sunday Schedule.
There will be NO LADIES’ MEETING on Saturday Evening.
There will be NO MEN’S MEETING on Sunday Morning.
There will be NO CHILDREN’S CHURCH on Sunday Afternoon.
The Sunday Service is going to remain at 2:00 PM.
If you have guests planning to attend or know of anyone who does not receive these messages, please let them know about these changes.
Sis. Lisa Munn made the final crossing this morning. While we mourn for her family, we can’t help but feel a little envious… This post is to deliver the details but another post will follow with announcements concerning our own services.
The arrangements for the wake and funeral are as follows:
Saturday Afternoon from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM
Saturday Evening from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM
Funeral will be held Sunday Morning at 11:00 AM.
Both wakes and funeral will be held at Family Worship Center in Plaster Rock.
Please keep the family in your prayers.
Good Evening Everyone!
This may seem like an odd email/blog post, but… it’s for a good cause! LOL There is no pressure to participate, but anyone who is willing to chip in will be thoroughly appreciated.
I just noticed that the flyer for Shoppers Drug Mart is advertising water on sale this Saturday. They are selling 24 bottles for $1.99 with a limit of 4 per person.
If any of you feel to, you can pick some of this up and bring it to the church. We will sell it at our Family Day on July 1st weekend, and also at Community Days in Salisbury later in the summer.
All proceeds from the sale of the water will go directly into the building fund. Here’s a chance to make a BIG DIFFERENCE with a LITTLE COST.
Thank You and God Bless.
We got up semi-early this morning and went to eat at a buffet place. The kids tanked up and we headed out for Hershey.
They went to “The Really Big 3D Show” and on the Hershey factory tour. After “gasping” loudly at the size of the chocolate bars there, we were off to the outlet malls. They got in about 90 minutes of shopping and then we took them to Hershey Park, where they will be riding rides and screaming their heads off until 8 PM. Then they’ll be returning here for the last hour or so of shopping before heading back to Lancaster to eat and hit the sack!
In the morning, two truckloads are going to Cabela’s while others are going shopping. Then,it’s off to Harrisburg for the IMAX and then back to Lancaster for Sight & Sound at 4:15, after which we are going to the Amish restaurant and more shopping.
On another note, the bus is fixed and waiting on us in Salem. It got done very reasonably, for which we are exceedingly glad!
God Bless you all!
