…has asked me to send out a big “Thanks” to all of you who prayed for him during this time.
I visited him tonight and he looked like his typical self (pretty much)… not a hair outta place!
Please continue to pray since unless there’s a miracle, he’ll be having gall bladder surgery in 4-6 weeks.
Please say a prayer at this time since he is currently in surgery.
Please say a prayer for him. He has been in emergency for several hours with what may be a gall bladder attack. The pain is excruciating and they are preparing for an ultrasound. Thanks.
Please pray for Sis. Brenda Edgar. She has been having very serious weak spells and is on her way to the hospital right now.
Thanks to all of you who have texted me and emailed regarding the message tonight. Your words mean a lot. I believe we are living on the very doorstep of a great “event” in the life of our church. I want to be a part of it! And I want you to be a part of it as well. Even if it means we must ‘cast our net on the other side’.
I also want to re-emphasize that the concepts broached tonight in my message were intended to spur us beyond ‘judgmental’ thinking, ‘traditional’ paradigms, and personal ‘biases’ (those things that we ALL struggle with from time to time), not as an indicator of a change in the direction we have travelled for so many years. The things I believed, I still hold fast to. The Acts 2:38 message is still THE MESSAGE. HOLINESS is not for sale. STANDARDS are not up for compromise. (And, no, we are not going to have 2nd time visitors greeting at the door this weekend. LOL)
That being said, it is time for us to move past our focus on negativity in our own lives, as well as the lives of others. Instead, let’s prop one another up, “keeping the unity of the spirit in the bond of peace.”
And on Sunday… Let’s Continue Revival at CPC! See you there!
God Bless You All.
Sis. Karen has fallen and broken her arm. Please pray for her and her quick recovery.
Please say a special prayer for Amanda. She has gone for a job interview today and it looks promising. Please pray that it works out.
Our new friend, Chris Roy, who came with his children the past two weekends, has messaged us and asked for prayer on behalf of his son, Bryce. It is a family/custody issue and a matter of great concern to his family, and now to us, their friends.
Thanks for your prayers.
